Q.1:- Find the value of the unknown exterior angle x in the following diagrams:
Solution 1:-
Formula:- Exterior angle = Sum of interior opposite angles.
Solution 1.(i) :- x = 70º+50º = 120º
Solution 1.(ii) :- x = 65º+45º = 110º
Solution 1.(iii) :- x = 30º+40º = 70º
Solution 1.(iv) :- x = 60º+60º = 120º
Solution 1.(v) :- x = 50º+50º = 100º
Solution 1.(vi):- x = 60º+30º = 90º
Q.2:- Find the value of the unknown interior angle x in the following figures:
Solution 2:-
Formula:- Exterior angle = Sum of interior opposite angles.
Solution 2.(i) :- 115º = x+50º;
x = 115º – 50º = 65º.
Solution 2.(ii) :- 100º = x+70º;
x = 100º – 70º = 30º.
Solution 2.(iii) :- 125º = x+90º;
x = 125º – 90º = 35º.
Solution 2.(iv) :- 120º = x+60º;
x = 120º – 60º = 60º.
Solution 2.(v) :- 80º = x+30º;
x = 80º – 30º = 50º.
